Our Estate Vineyard was planted on the Savannah Ridge in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA in 2003. Debuting in 2006, the Pinot Noir of our vineyard has been one of the three sources Roads End Oregon Pinot Noir and the sole fruit of our estate wine, Cape Lookout Oregon Pinot Noir. Our 22 acres share the hill with vineyards of Ken Wright, Tony Soter, 11311, and Mike Bayliss

11011 NE Bayliss Rd, Carlton, Oregon 97111

Planted Varieties:
Pinot Noir, 777 Dijon on Riparia Gloire rootstock, Wädenswil and 828 Pommard, on both 3309 and 101-14 rootstocks, Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc and Auxerrois Blanc.

Flavor Profile:
In Pinot Noir, our Wellsdale soils are associated with generous black fruit — black cherry, blackberry, plum, cassis. To this profile, our vines add bright red fruit such as red cherry and strawberry. Also prevalent are rich savory and baking spice notes.
