Proposal Rock Yamhill-Carlton Sauvignon Blanc
In 1999 your winemaker Dave proposed to his future wife and winery parter Robin at this stunning spot at Neskowin on the Oregon Coast. Only later did Dave learn this place is known as Proposal Rock.
This romantic quasi-island is the dot on the exclamation point of the beautiful shoreline at Neskowin, situated right where the Slab Creek (far more picturesque than its name suggests) meets the Pacific Ocean.
In 2010 our Estate Vineyard produced its first lush harvest of Robin’s favorite variety, Sauvignon Blanc. We knew exactly what name to give this crisp, elegant wine with its fresh pear and citrus character. Here’s to love at first sip!

The figures you see on the label are indeed your winemakers Dave & Robin, re-enacting their real-life engagement a decade after the fact.
The photographer Kathryn Elsesser shot the original photo (and got soaked during some of the more experimental shooting), which was then enhanced by the creative team at HELSINQI.
