Agate Beach Oregon Pinot Noir Rosé

This exceptional dry wine, exclusively from Willamette Valley Pinot Noir grapes, balances refreshing crispness with the rich character of its variety.

Brisk as a day on Agate Beach, bright and smooth as the stones this favorite Oregon getaway is known for — we’ll only make this rare rosé when the vintage is right. Enjoy its fresh, summer fruit while it’s here — like the Oregon sun.

Agate Beach 2007

  • yield: 85 cases
  • availability: sold out

WSA Tasting Panel notes:

Bright, medium pink with hints of fuchsia. The nose is medium intense, with aromas of strawberry candies, watermelon and faint notes of caraway. The wine has medium body, medium to medium-plus acidity, very light tannin and flavors of sweet, fresh summer fruits such as strawberries, raspberries, and watermelon (though it is an entirely dry wine). The wine’s refreshing acidity and bright fruit flavors make it a wonderful accompaniment to a variety of dishes, particularly vegetable-based, but also medium-weighted meats such as salmon, chicken, or pork.
