Calling all wine lovers and cat lovers! Robin is on the board of the Cat Adoption Team (CAT), the Pacific Northwest's largest nonprofit, no-kill cat shelter, caring for 400 to 600 cats and kittens on a daily basis.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to the 40+ volunteers who came out to help us during the most important time of the year!! We were blown away by your support, and by the partnership of our new custom crush winemakers. It was the first time we had all worked together, and everyone pitched in to make it a success.

But harvest isn't over until the wine is in the barrels, and since crush was so late this year, the winery is still full of fermenters. So we have decided to reschedule our volunteer thank-you dinner from this Saturday Nov. 6 to Saturday, January 15, 2011. So all of you who volunteered for Crush, save the date!

In the meantime, we hope you will come celebrate the season at our Thanksgiving Open House!!

Congratulations to Robin's beloved sister Brooke on tying the knot in our very own Russell-Grooters Vineyard on October 10! Here's to you, Brooke and John!
