Message in a Bottle - The Carlton Cellars Newsletter, No. 3, New Years Edition, December 28, 2007

Happy New Year from Carlton Cellars!

This has been an incredible year for us. We'll be popping the celebratory bubbly at midnight for sure. But New Years' with friends and family is also a perfect time to bring out the Roads End — especially the 2006 with its bold, jubilant fruit. Need to restock your cellar? Find out how on our Purchase page.

Some of the year's highlights on our Top Reasons to Celebrate List:

  • We built our new winery just in time for our first in-house crush.
  • So many of you came out to make our first in-house Thanksgiving tasting such a great success. Thank you!
  • The Carlton Cellars Connoisseurs' Club, our new wine club, kicked off with a pre-Thanksgiving event that positively exceeded our expectations. New enthusiasts joined longtime devotees to show their ebullient support, keeping us pouring the '06's and barrel-tasting the '07's until well past the closing bell.
  • Estate grapes from our very own Russell-Grooters Vineyard made their public début in the 2006 Roads End.
  • We launched our new website, with a new look, more images and information (and more to come), and started up this newsletter, the Message in a Bottle. Plus we set up a photo gallery with some fun behind-the-scenes snapshots of what we've been up to.

The Road Ahead

Roads End is only the beginning! Our Connoisseurs' Club members already know about our new, soon-to-be-released second offering. Those who joined us at our exclusive pre-Thanksgiving preview even know how great it tastes and what it's called, and they were able to pre-order it. Very soon we'll make it public, so keep your eyes on our website and this newsletter.

Carlton Cellars, Media Darlings

OK, that's way overstating the case (there's the media for you...). But we did get featured in an Oregon Wine Press article. Read all about it here. Then come see for yourself what the buzz is about. Stay tuned for upcoming Carlton Cellars events, or get in touch about making an appointment to visit us in Carlton.

Thanks for making 2007 a great year for Carlton Cellars,

— Dave & Robin, owner-winemakers,
and the team at Carlton Cellars
