Message in a Bottle - The Carlton Cellars Newsletter, No. 1, September 20, 2007

The Newsletter Goes Live!

Fine wines improve with age. We think newsletters should be the same.

You may have signed up for our mailing list as far back as 2002, with the release of the first Roads End vintage, and wondered why you never heard from us.

Well, all good things take time, especially for a small operation like ours. While we've been hard at work on our vineyard, our winery, and above all our wines, we've been letting our newsletter mature like a good Burgundy. And now, we pour. Thanks for your patience — it's great to be back in touch. Enjoy!

Note: with all the dust that's settled on our mailing list, you could be receiving this newsletter at more than one email address. You can change your settings (and unsubscribe anytime) by clicking on the "Manage your subscription" link that appears at the bottom of each email. Or, you can sign up with a new address on our sign-up page. And you can always feel free to contact us directly.

Crush 2007 — Volunteers Needed

It's that time again! In the time-honored winemaking tradition, we need volunteers to help us decide which grapes will become the next Roads End Pinot Noir. There's no better way to participate in your favorite wines than to roll up your sleeves and help make them!

To get involved, click over to Crush Central or call 503-852-7888. (If you've joined us for Crush before, note that this year we're no longer in the Ken Wright Cellars building, but in our new Carlton Cellars Winery building next door.)

Thanksgiving Weekend Open House

Come celebrate the '06 vintages, and the opening of our new winery facility. We're joining forces with our friends Raptor Ridge and Atticus to pop the cork on new releases from all three wineries, including the 2006 Roads End Pinot Noir. It all happens in Carlton, the weekend following Thanksgiving.

Get the details on our Events page or call 503-852-7888.

Visit Our New Home on the Web
